Great job Derek! I also have some of your products and I use and own Market Samurai myself. I also use The Longtail Pro software tool that a guy named Spencer created and I am sure you probably know him yourself.
Now that I think about it I got the link to this site from a couple of your friends, Mike Long and Kelly Felix from Bring the Fresh. I’m a member over there and at OMG Machines.
I love learning new things, especially when I can make some coin doing it. 🙂

Great intro video to Market Samurai, I especially liked the Exact match information which you presented and I must admit I have not properly utilized this myself previously.

I agree with your recommendation that Market Samurai is a great tool that everyone should have in their arsenal and it is really excellent value and is updated by the developers very regularly.

Hello Derek,
I have been following you and Anthony for about 4 months and I really like your stuff. One of the things that I would like to become good at is (authority inbound links).
I’ve managed to get my sites in the #1 page of google handling an average of 20K unique visitors per month. But, the inbound link subject is not my forte.

Also, I have bought a couple of your courses but would love to be guided on how to master the inbound link arena.

Thanks Robert. Obviously I believe free is better however I use paid traffic initially to test these factors –
1. To verify the market is actually getting the number of searches Google says. Google’s numbers are wrong the majority of the time, so I wanna see what the real numbers are. Buying ads on bing is super cheap and can give you a rough idea what kind of traffic is really there. I know if I’m getting descent volumes in Yahoo and Bing, then Google will pay off since there’s so much more traffic.
2. To see if the traffic converts
There is no worse of a feeling to get a number one ranking, then see your site get 5 clicks per day or that the traffic is not buying your widget.

That’s simply not going to cut it.

Once we see the campaign is getting traffic and conversions are descent, then we’re off to the races.
