In reply to <a href="https://searchstacks.com/will-your-youtube-video-rank/#comment-461">Graham</a>.

Hey Graham -CW does know his stuff and a great friend - I took out the city you mentioned in your comment because I do not want to out anyone's niche :)
Like I said in the article - I'm not saying it will not rank - because I've gotten stuff to rank where there were no videos before... However, for people just getting started many times they'll look at the top 10 and see that there's no video and think -

I'll just slap up a video and it will rank - and that's not always the case.

It's important to learn to dig a little deeper. Also, notice that videos sometimes come and go depending on the freshness of other videos in the market.

So may be time to give it a push with another video, or test some fresh comments, likes and new backlinks

Hope this helps.

I see what you are saying Derek and I have noticed that youtube videos are not a slam dunk for all circumstances. However, you use a bailbonds local search for orange county, Google XXX and see that there is a video on page 1 in 3-4 spot. So why would google think that you are not looking for a video in XXX, but are looking for a video in San Diego? Or is it because it's our friend CW's video and he has bullet proofed it with his ranking methods? Meanwhile my video for chiropractor visalia has dropped off the face of the earth, but my channel remains at the top of page 2. My other chiropractor video for Hanford remains on page 1.
